Tim is a highly experienced musician with years of teaching experience, yet is consistently patient with and supportive to his students. As an instructor, Tim creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere while instilling confidence in his students with positive reinforcement. He teaches guitar, piano, bass, and drums. Tim studied jazz at the prestigious Jackie McLean Institute at Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, and has also studied Jazz and African American Music at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is an accomplished performer having appeared in pit orchestras for musical theatre productions, including Grease and Bye Bye Birdie, for groups such as Star Players of Bristol County and Triboro Youth Theater. Tim is continually excited to share his musical knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians. His goal as a teacher is to provide a balance of music theory, improvisation, technique and proficiency in the genre/s that each student is most interested in pursuing. Tim’s life goal is to create change to help as many people live better lives as possible.
